Thoracic rheography: noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring in medical
practice.

Talker: Grammatikopoulos Constantine, MD, Ph.D
The assessment of hemodynamics parameters of central blood flow, some timeago was only object
of specialized hospital units, as a right cardiac catheterization was required. Important information
about the mechanical heart function was not available to physicians. Thoracic rheography in its
actual digital form offers the possibility of an immediate, noninvasive, simple, painless, absolutely
safe and economic measuring of such information. Hemodynamic information helps with many
diseases and disturbances such as all heart diseases, hypertension, hypotension, coronary
disease and myocardial infarction, diseases requiring intensive care etc.
